The Toycon 2014 was another of our yearly must-visit events. If only to check out really cheap comics. But also to chase that Disney Frozen action figure. Other highlights of the event were Batman\'s 75th Anniversary awarding Batman world cosplayers, a glimpse of the upcoming merchandise for Marvel\'s Guardians of the Galaxy and the Rurouni Kenshin movie costume exhibit.

They are the BEST Digital Art Production Studio in Manila bar none. Under their wing are some fo the finest comic book dudes, digital painters, graphic designers, 3D artists, you name it, they are IT . The studio is now offering alternative education opportuinites and school tie-ups for digital art and painting and design!

The much awaited Manila International BookFair for 2014 looked mighty impressive. You could bring home a nice library of loot from the stash offered: from pop romance favorites, hard-to-find textbooks, to comics and everything else. The best part is finding the specialist booths like the Instituto Cervantes featuring Comics by Carlos Gimenez and the Embassy of the Czech Republic\'s booth with Czech Fairy Tales and Fantasy Novels.
