CHAPTER 2
Professor Darrien Keldor had all sorts of candid camera-phone pics of him hidden in the journals of his female students. He was adored by almost all of the young ladies in the classes he handled, even if they hated College Geometry.
He looked younger than some of his students, but they didn’t mind fawning all over him every chance they got. Some of the more foolish, lovestruck girls and even boys who didn’t know they were male, dropped classes then took them again under him. Sometimes two semesters in a row.
Mika was a college sophomore barely making it through College Geometry herself, but she told herself the grueling one-and-a-half-hour of measuring angles and finding solutions to impossible calculations was worth all the trouble of seeing Darrien every day. Not because he was pretty or anything at all. But his girlfriend was dynamite fire bombshell! She had the biggest crush on Darrien’s Chinese girlfriend who really really looked like Rinoa Heartlily.
She herself had about a half dozen pics of ‘King Keljoran’ in her purse, journal as bookmarks and more saved in her laptop and smartphone to keep her own secret hidden.
She studied his own consultation hours and figured out that his girlfriend was around during Fridays so she made every effort to hog those advisory time periods and get stuck with Darrien for an hour and a half, thrice a week; and an hour a week for supposed consultations where all she did was stare at his doll of a girlfriend while pretending to understand his help in making the lessons clearer.
The other coeds were also queued up for up to a month in advance once the semester started. Some were even sly enough to leave a handkerchief, a notebook or their mobile phone in his office so they could return even after consultations were over. She did this too, but not to see him, but to be with HER.
Some of the girls were nasty though and were secretly gossiping bad stuff about Darrien’s girlfriend. But Mika would have none of that, if she could somehow get the chance to get close to his girlfriend, then she was willing to share him with her, and it would be the coolest thing since he looked like a girl enough for her to like him too. Woot!
